Our bespoke application is a critical operational product within the organisation, required to be available to users globally.

This application was originally developed by an outsourced organisation with a variety of development technologies. Source code and database schema were brought in-house in November 2012.

In the medium term, the front end is currently being re-written to take it from its current Classic ASP/ASP.NET hybrid state to a new ASP.NET MVC Web Application coded entirely in .Net Framework 4. This update will coincide with a move from a 32-bit IIS application to a 64-bit application.
