Sales Ledger Clerk - £22,000 DOE
Your new position is within a highly successful group of retail companies with a circa £350m turnover. These are made up of a variety of specialisations, totalling over 4,000 colleagues and 340 stores around the UK. You will play an integral part across the whole group supporting the multiple brands. The brands are all household names and certain lines are backed by high profile celebrities. Based in Crewe, Cheshire, this office is based less than 1 mile from the train station, so commuting is extremely easy!
What you will do:
You, the new Sales Ledger Clerk, will use your experience to complete credit control to reduce outstanding debts and also set up new customers and validate the companies to produce invoices in a timely manner. You will also complete reconciliation of customer accounts, payments and the receipt bank account. Upon reviewing the customer accounts, the Sales Ledger Clerk will produce statements and collect any outstanding payments.
- Experience of sales ledger / credit control
- Accurate and efficient working manner
- Excellent communication, written and verbally
- Skilled with IT and MS Excel
- Time management and organisation
