Group Finance Manager- £275 - £350 p/d (3-12 months)
Your new position is within a highly successful group of retail companies with a circa £350m turnover. These are made up of a variety of specialisations, totalling over 4,000 colleagues and 340 stores around the UK. You will play an integral part across the whole group supporting the multiple brands. The brands are all household names and certain lines are backed by high profile celebrities. Based in Crewe, Cheshire, this office is based less than 1 mile from the train station, so commuting is extremely easy!
What you will do:
You, the new Group Finance Manager, will undertake certain project tasks including cost analysis across the group and identifying and managing the process of reducing costs. You will also assist in building a new cashflow forecasting model through Excel to support the Treasury function. The Group Finance Manager will analyse and reconcile the Group Cost Centres, closing month-end and raising invoices. You will control the Group Cost Centre budgets for the next tax year, including variance analysis and commentaries and liaise with the owners and Group Board. The Group Finance Manager will also control intercompany loans, settlements and reconciliations, whilst providing analytical support for the year-end audit.
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA / QBE
- Experience in Finance Manager role
- Ability to use foresight and think ahead, anticipating issues before they arise
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
- Experience in the Retail industry
- Excellent communication, written and verbally
