Southport is looking for a Senior ASP.NET Developer - £40,000


This is a real opportunity to work with a real forward thinking software company, who thrive on success! In this role you will be working with the Project Development team, providing technical support and solutions for both internally and customer.

With this Senior ASP.NET position they are looking for:

  • You will have commercial experience working with ASP.NET 
  • You will have to be passionate about writing software and will be accustom to delivering high quality, tested, scalable and maintainable code.
  • You will have an appetite to learn and to share your findings. Working here will provide a lot of variety. 
Your everyday responsibilities will consist of:
  • Able to publish consistent code in a timely manner, in a team and sometimes flying solo, to which both have to be kept to a high standard. This will ensure all objections are delivered to a high standard, with quality and accuracy.
  • Working with various teams within the company, to really get full exposure to all projects, and get a insight to the life cycle of them all.
  • Designing technical software projects with multiple members of the company, to ensure that it is all kept to the highest standard. 
  • The ability to see any errors in the code and fix them where you see fit. This is to ensure that it is kept to the highest level of standards.
  • Develop and implement programming tools for internal use.
  • Work with the project managers to make sure that they are fed coffee and maintain and find any defects and develop a solution to fix any and all issues that may arise.
  • Implementing the finished products to the project managers, and performing all and any necessary system tests, to ensure all accuracy of development.
  • Also to be aware of current trends and new technologies within the industry to make sure that everything is kept shinny and new.
