PHP Developer – London – £30k - £45k

My client specialises in all aspects of online marketing, website and online games creation in the iGaming, Sports Betting, Poker and Casino industries. Due to the growing demand for their services, my client is now recruiting for several “PHP Developers” to join their creative workforce on a full time permanent basis. company’s growth allows massive opportunity for progression and personal development within the business, with offices and clients around the globe, this is a great time to secure a position in a thriving business.



The ideal candidate will have extensive commercial PHP Back-End development experience using Object oriented PHP and MySQL. The ideal developer will be experienced in back-end integrations, SOAP and REST APIs with a problem solving and methodical approach. The candidate will work within a team of 7 people for our client, including project management, product owner and development team. Responsibilities will include developing Dynamic Live Odds Banners and Landing pages.

Knowledge and experience of:

  • PHP5 and PHP7+
  • MySQL
  • Symfony, Zend, Laravel (Or any similar MVC Framework)
  • The candidate should have Strong web development skills with experience in hand-coding HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3/SASS, JavaScript/jQuery/jQ.Mobi, VueJS, Angular JS, Gulp XSLT 2.0 & XML.
  • TDD - Using PHPUnit, PHPSpec etc.
  • Unix command line knowledge
  • Git
  • Webpack, Gulp, Grunt
  • Bootstrap3
PHP developer desirable (not essential):

  • Working with remote teams
  • Node.js
  • API integration in between different technologies (C, Java, PHP)
